PieCrust Labs is the umbrella for a set of independent projects — software for clubs and recreational leagues on one side, a 3D printing and craft shop on the other.
Each project stands on its own, with its own name, its own site, and its own audience. What they share is an approach: build the smallest thing that solves the problem properly, and keep it that way.
Software for the clubs and leagues people actually play in. Two of them are scoreboards built the same way — recording a result should take seconds, and the standings should be a consequence of what happened rather than anyone's opinion. Diamond Manager is the exception, and manages a team instead of scoring a game. All of them keep each club separate: its own roster, its own history, and an export available at any time.
Record a game in about ten seconds. Elo ratings, standings filterable by quarter or all time, streaks, head-to-head records, matchup suggestions, and forty achievements earned from real game history. Singles, doubles, or one against two.
paddleclub.app/about →Mark who showed up and it splits them into two balanced sides, weighing four things at once: skill, position coverage, chemistry between players, and variety so you're not replaying the same matchup. Ratings move on recorded results and margin — there's no manual skill input anywhere, on purpose.
hardwoodclub.app/about →A management tool rather than a scoreboard — roster, schedule, attendance, depth chart and automatic lineups for a rec-league softball team. Rate each player by position on the depth chart and the lineup builder fills the field at the lowest total cost, where cost is the square of the depth-chart level. Squaring is the point: two players slightly out of position beats one player badly out of position, which is how a coach actually thinks about it.
diamondmanager.app →Software for running things rather than playing them. These start as utilities for the studio's own setup and get finished properly when they turn out to be worth handing to someone else.
A native iOS app that watches a whole homelab from a phone. It covers eleven platforms across infrastructure, network and services — Proxmox and Proxmox Backup Server, TrueNAS, Unraid, Portainer, UniFi, OPNsense, Pi-hole, AdGuard Home, Uptime Kuma and Home Assistant. Nodes, guests, storage, disk health, backups and reachability, plus start, shutdown and restart behind a biometric gate, a terminal on a guest or the node itself, and background checks that notify when something stops answering.

xyzaxislabs.com →The scoreboards share a suffix — Paddle Club and Hardwood Club — because they're the same product shaped for different sports. Each name points at the equipment or the surface rather than the sport itself, which keeps them from sounding like a template.
Diamond Manager sits deliberately outside that pattern. It manages a team rather than scoring a game, and the name should say so before anyone opens it.
Homelab Deck sits outside it too, for the same reason — nothing about it is a club or a game. A deck is the surface you lay everything out on to see it at once, which is what the app is for.
